Ok the first 400 pages but after I had reached the Cuban Revolution the next 400 pages were pretty tired but I did and I have learned so much about the Cuban revolution and Marxist communism. In addition to reading almost anything about Che wrote Anderson has interviewed dozens of Guevara contemp ies in Cuba and Argentina including childhood friends Cuban officials and other guerrilla. He is the author of several books including The Lion Tomb: Dispatches from Afghanistan. Che Guevara: A revolutionary life the guerrilla: Travel into the world of the rebels and the fall in Baghdad. He is co-author of Scott Anderson of War Zones: Voices from the world killing reasons in the league. He was honored by the Overseas Press Club and in 2013 he was honored with a Maria Moors Cabot Award for outstanding reporting on Latin America and the Caribbean. They are not presented beautifully just as they actually were: people who did not manage Chivatos were executed days when they had no food or medicine for their wounded. I felt I had a good perspective on Che here including his personal struggle with very severe asthma that bothered him all his life. It is an utopia that can be fully achieved not because people are not altruistic who are not willing to give up the good life to the benefit of all. He was selfless willful honest a scholar of learning still reading books and the real reason why the United States intervened in Eisenhower in South America was to protect the interests of United Fruit Coca-Cola and other American companies. Communism does not work much choice and freedom must be removed for example they have abolished studying at the university because they would benefit society as a whole has not gone. Since then he has treated many conflicts for the magazine including those in Syria Lebanon Libya Iraq Afghanistan Angola Somalia Sudan Mali and Liberia.
